WOMENS CIRCLES
Circles are gatherings of Christian women meeting together on a regular basis to worship the Lord, learn more about Him and His will for their lives, and then reach out to share His love and gospel with the world.
Following are brief descriptions of each group. We have included the typical ages of the women in each group. Please keep in mind by no means does this indicate that there is an age requirement to join any of these groups. This is just a general description as to the people that are currently participating. We welcome women of any age to join any group they are comfortable in.
LAMBS
The Lambs circle consists of about eight to ten women ranging in age from the 20's through 50. They meet together on the first Friday of every month at 7:00PM. This group studies the Bible and enjoy fellowship. The Lambs is the circle that hosts the collection of Christmas Gifts to Bethana Orphanage, and the daughters of the King functions.
DORCAS
The Dorcas Circle consists of approximatley 12 to 14 women ranging in ages from 60 through 80. They meet the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:30PM in various members homes. They use a study guide with their bible studies. There special mission projects include: Operation Christmas Child, financial support of Sheldon Jackson College in Alaska, and Camp Hill Village(community for developmentallty challenged adults), and the Heifer project.
ELIZABETH
The Elizabeth Circle meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month and its has approximately 15 women participating ranging in age from 50 through 90. Their area of special interests are: devotions and bible study and singing with the day care children. They also host educational programs on diabetes, arthritis, hospice care, etc.
SEEKERS
The Seekers circle consist of approximately 20 women ranging in age from 30 through 80. They meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for bible study and devotions from 12:00PM until 4:00PM. Their special areas of interest are Christmas Child,k Operation Shoeboxes, Worldwide Faith Missions, Christian Andes Mission, clothing men in prison, and the Heifer project.
