HOPE and HEALING UNDER the TENT:

This series of evening worship services will run from June 8th to the 15th.

The services will be held under the tent on the front lawn of the Emilie United Methodist Church.

The service begins each evening with a time of praise at 6pm

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket.  Refreshments will be available.  Bring your friends and neighbors and join us in praying for our community!

Jessyka said YES!

One soggy evening last summer our Youth Pastor Mike proposed marriage to the lovely Jessyka M. The question was "popped" via the Jumbotron in front of all of the spectators at the Trenton Thunder game at Mercer Co. Waterfront Park. The roses were a nice touch Mike! Needless to say, Jessyka said "YES!"  Congratulations and may the sweetest blessings of God be upon you both.

The Worship Committee is looking for volunteers to help stuff the bulletins on Friday afternoons from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. If you could give about 1 or 2 hours a week or even once a month, it would be greatly appreciated. Please see Cheryl van Lierop or Bonnie Quinn after the service if you can help.


Upcoming Needs of the Food Pantry at the Morrisville Presbyterian church

After the Annual Postal Collection in May, the Pantry needs persons over 18 years of age to separate and move can goods to the church basement on Sat., May 12th.  If you can help for an hour or two starting at 11 a.m. Please call the First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville 215-295-4191.

 The Food Pantry is also in need of     2-wheeled folding grocery carts [new or used].   

 If you can help you call  215-495-8550. 

Thanks for all the bags. We still need  grocery bags- plastic or paper everyweek.

Military Prayer Board 

Check out our Military Prayer Board which is located in the Narthex on the wall between the Sanctuary and the Pastor's Office. The war is still in force overseas. Please continue to pray for our military men and women. 

If you would like prayers for anyone in the military, please give a photo and name, where they are stationed, etc.to the church office.   


DEACONS GO POSTAL!

The Deacons have a new program! We are sending greeting cards to anyone we know of who is in any branch of military service, serving anywhere in the world. If you have a loved one, friend, neighbor (which is the same thing because you should love your neighbor)who is in the military, please give the Deacons the name and address of the person you would like them to reach out to. The name and address should be put into the Deacon's Military Box which is located beneath the Military Prayer Board in the Narthex.
